About

This blog aims to explore how voting reform could enfranchise me.  This is a UK based blog.

My vote has never mattered because I have always lived in “safe seats” – the sort of places where they say “put a blue rosette on a monkey and it would get elected here” or “put a red rosette on a donkey and it would get elected here”.

I cannot effectively chose my MP – which means that I cannot withhold my support to sack an MP “guilt of gross miss-conduct”, I am totally reliant on the local selection committee.

I am disenfranchised.  Enfranchise me (and the majority of this country) now!
